At Ewig Krieger Kennels, we breed high quality West German Show line German Shepherd puppies. Our dogs are PTSD Service trained and have outstanding pedigrees and temperament. Our bloodlines produce highly intelligent, focused dogs with outgoing, sweet temperaments. As a result of our selective breeding program, we produce pups perfect for service work. Undoubtedly, if you’re just looking for a pet, our bloodlines would definitely be perfect for your needs as our dogs all demonstrate incredible intelligence, loyalty, focused drive and a willingness to please.
In addition to our breeding program, we offer training programs, private lessons and boarding options at our Kennel. Our training plans are customizable for various training needs.
Furthermore, we always ensure we adhere to breed standard in order to promote exceptional quality, health and temperament. All our breeding dogs are DM certified and have OFA or FCI (European) certification of hips and elbows.
Our kennel name “Ewig Krieger” is German for “Eternal Warrior”, paying homage to the continued sacrifice and commitment of our nation’s service men and women. We are located in Lewistown, Missouri (Northeast Missouri) and welcome visits to our kennel.

We got a puppy from this kennel. I had never had a German Shepherd as a pet before. I had ton of questions and Bonnie always answered my questions. She is very caring of her adopted fur babies and her fur babies at home. She wants to stay in contact and know how they are doing. Bonnie helped us get our puppy enrolled in puppy classes, which really helps with obedience and socialization. Our puppy is very intelligent and catches on quick. He doesn’t like getting out of a routine, he will pout if he doesn’t get his way, he is curious and wants to be wherever my husband and I are. Our puppy will be a year old in July and weighs about 60 pounds. If we had more room we would definitely adopt another puppy from this kennel.
